Kevin Lloyd — Owner & Operator
Kevin Lloyd grew up with two passions: public safety and heavy equipment. He followed the first into a 23-year career in public safety and a decade in the U.S. Army, retiring in 2024 to finally chase the second. Today he owns and operates First Response Demolition and Transport, bringing the same discipline to a job site that he brought to emergency work: plan the job, do it right, and keep everyone safe. Married to Cheryl for 25 years and a father of three, Kevin built this as a family company and runs every project personally.
Jalen Lloyd — Heavy Equipment Operations Manager
Jalen Lloyd is Kevin's son and the company's Heavy Equipment Operations Manager. He currently serves in the U.S. Army as a 19K armor crewman, where his crew earned Brigade Top Gun, with deployments to Lithuania and Poland. That training carries straight into how he runs the equipment side of First Response: operation, maintenance, and safe transport, handled with military precision. When Jalen is on a job, the machines go exactly where they should and safety comes first, every time.
